Women of the Movement. Clio Bronze Winner

I’m thrilled to share that the Women of the Movement trailer I created with my colleagues at ZEALOT won Bronze at the 2022 Clio Awards in the Television/Series: Trailer category. It was also Golden Trailer Awards Nominee for Best Drama for a TV/Streaming Series.

This project was especially meaningful to me given the weight of the material. Many people know the story of Emmett Till, but this series focuses on his mother, Mamie Till-Mobley. Her strength and courage turned unimaginable tragedy into a force for change. It was an honor to help share her story with a new generation.

Whenever I start a new trailer project, I love diving into the music of that era. The civil rights period produced so many powerful songs. Here are a few favorites I came across during my search.
